KALBI MILCH TOP S - More protection without additional work in the cool season

Kalbi Milk Top S from Schaumann combines the advantages of a high-quality milk replacer with 50% skimmed milk powder proportion with an efficient acid combination in one product. This saves effort, makes the feeder more flexible in terms of time, prevents incorrect dosing and stabilises the calves' digestion even in the cold season.

Cool temperatures in winter are often a risk factor for calf health. When temperatures fall, the calves' sickness rate also increases. Not only the immune system is under greater strain, the faster cooling milk drink also poses greater challenges to the digestive system. The use of acid combinations to lower the pH of the feeders provides security for the digestive system at low feeding temperatures and stabilises the milk even if it remains in the feeding bucket in the barn or on the calf igloo for many hours during ad libitum feeding.

The separate addition of an acid to the stirred milk replacer requires an additional step and must be carried out very precisely in order to achieve a pH value of 5.5 and prevent the milk from flaking out. With the new Schaumann product Kalbi Milch Top S, this additional acidification step is no longer necessary.
