27. Hülsenberger Gespräche: Brochure including all the presentations now published

28.11.2018

Symposium topic: Digitalisation in agriculture

The topics of the two-day H. Wilhelm Schaumann Stiftung symposium were the methods, goals, prospects, and the risks of digitalisation in agriculture. The four topic areas “Precision Farming (foreign trade)”, “Precision Livestock Farming”, “Methods and Potentials of Data Processing” and “Legal Status, Safety and Economy of Digitalisation” were presented in a range of lectures and discussed thoroughly.

The opportunities and systems of digitalisation were highlighted from a variety of viewpoints. However, the hurdles, such as costs, IT security, data sovereignty, and network coverage in the field were also a matter for the symposium.

The aim of the Hülsenberger Gespräche is to stimulate intensified research activity, improve interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage scientific impact assessment. Once again, this target was achieved during the symposium.

The brochure of the 27th Hülsenberger Gespräche with all the presentations and the subsequent discussions is now available and can be obtained through the H. Wilhelm Schaumann Stiftung. The brochure can also be downloaded from the internet: www.schaumann-stiftung.de.
