NATUPIG – the innovative mineralfeed for pigs

Modern pig nutrition requires innovative feeding concepts that go beyond the need-based supply of nutrients and active ingredients. It also focuses on the reduction of crude protein, phosphorus, copper, zinc and antibiotics. Environmentally friendly nutrient management and good intestinal health throughout all production phases are further goals.

With the new NATUPIG product line, SCHAUMANN offers a mineral feed program with new active ingredients that optimally meets these requirements. The SCHAUMANN active ingredients and products are developments by ISF Schaumann Forschung for success in the barn.

CERAVITAL XP, a protein-rich single feed from fermentation with fungi, saves up to 3 % soya in the ration, which can be filled up cost-effectively with e.g. farm crops. The results of the broad effect of CERAVITAL XP are consistently best performance, lower feed costs, lower ammonia emissions, area savings and improved profitability, especially in pig fattening.

The new probiotic CERABAC inhibits the growth of pathogenic germs, supports the immune system and promotes healing of the mucous membrane. The germ flora in the digestive system is stabilised. Higher performance and reduced days of diarrhoea are the result, especially at the beginning of piglet rearing.

The SCHAUMANN active ingredient CERAGEL, a specially treated brown alga, boosts the immune system and thus supports animal health. In addition, toxins are bound and thus the passage through the intestinal mucosa is prevented. The result is better feed conversion and higher gains, especially at the start of pig fattening.

The development of the NATUPIG product line proves how the current challenges can be mastered through a combination of research and development, state-of-the-art production facilities and practical experience - for success in the barn.
